Hello neighbors,

May is upon us, and it brings a fantastic mix of culture, innovation, and community gatherings right here in Mountain View. It’s an exciting time to explore the city and connect with friends, old and new.

Arts & Entertainment
#

If you haven’t yet had the chance to see it, the wonderful musical Come From Away is playing at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts (MVCPA). You can still catch a performance before its run concludes on May 10. It’s a beautiful story and a great excuse for a night out.

Downtown Revitalization
#

Our downtown area continues to thrive with vibrant new additions! The City’s pop-up program, in partnership with MOMENT, is doing an amazing job of activating storefronts and bringing fresh energy to the area. A great example is the new pop-up shop Don’t Eat Me at 293 Castro Street. Featuring a brilliant collective of local artists, it’s a perfect spot to find unique creations and support our local creative community while embracing the dynamic growth of our city.

Don’t forget that the much-loved Music on Castro series is back in full swing! Enjoy live music downtown every Wednesday evening—it’s a wonderful mid-week break that runs all the way through October.

Looking slightly further ahead, mark your calendars for the Rex Manor Annual Block Party scheduled for Sunday, June 7! It’s going to be a fantastic afternoon of food, games, and catching up with neighbors. I look forward to seeing many of you there to celebrate our wonderful community.

Have a joyful and safe May!
