Looking Ahead to April: Music, Tech, and Neighborhood Fun

·333 words·2 mins

Hello neighbors,

As we wrap up March, it’s a great time to look ahead at what’s coming up in our wonderful city. The days are getting longer, and there is so much to look forward to as Mountain View continues to grow and offer exciting new opportunities for all of us.

Here are a few events and updates to keep in mind as we head into April:

Music on Castro Returns
#

One of the best signs of spring in Mountain View is the return of the Music on Castro series! Starting in April and running through October, you can enjoy live performances in downtown Mountain View every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. It is a fantastic way to break up the week, listen to great local talent, and support our dynamic downtown area. You can find the full lineup of performers on the City of Mountain View website.

Build & Chill Project Jam at Hacker Dojo
#

Our local tech community continues to be a driving force of creativity and connection. Over at the Hacker Dojo (855 Maude Avenue), they are hosting their recurring Build & Chill Project Jam every two weeks on Wednesdays. Whether you are a seasoned engineer or just someone curious about technology, it’s a great place to bring a project, learn something new, and connect with the bright minds that make our city such an incredible hub of innovation. It’s a testament to the positive, collaborative spirit of our tech industry!

Neighborhood Life
#

It has been wonderful to see so many families and athletes out recently for the girls softball tournament over at Stevenson Baseball Field. It’s always great to see our local parks full of energy and friendly competition. Whether you have a child playing or just want to enjoy the atmosphere, it’s a great reason to get outside and support our local youth sports.

Have a wonderful rest of your March, and I hope to see you around the neighborhood!
